Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)

The Scooter's single "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)", released by label Sheffield Tunes in 2008, was added to my music library in November 2008. "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" is a record in the genre of dance. This is a moderately enjoyable single — I rated it 3.5 stars out of 5. "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" is related to the region of Hamburg, Germany; it belongs to the german and western-european cultural world zones. I marked 1 out of 4 tracks on this single as favorite, and it is "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)". Judging by picked selection, most tracks on this record are sung with male voice. They are also performed in high profile/energy/mood. If you wanted to know about records similar to this one that we also have in this library, look at “Jump With Me” by Sheffield Jumpers, “Jasmin” by Blümchen, “Human After All” (Daft Punk) and “Temper” (Northern Lite). Scooter do covers, and that's the thing they do great. Basically all their
major hits are either plagiarism or cover versions and that's fine by me — it's
just the way the band is, they don't pretend. They can do good covers, as long
as they are not cheap. In regard to "Whatever You Want" it's clear that the
track became good because of Status Quo's original version, and nobody
diminishes them, but when Scooter chooses your track for a cover, beware!
Everyone will call you outdated this very instant. I felt enthusiastic about
this single as soon as I heard it. Bored by the high-pitched voices produced
like on an assembly line, I was thinking the band is not able to make it
anymore. But then, when I almost forgot about them, here's the first class gift
for ya. Don't care about the value of the song for parties or whatever, it's
just purely a terrific song. Simple as that. This may be the reason why the Quo
themselves decided to show up together with such youngsters. If you've seen the
video, you know how HP with a humuliating smile from above shook a shoulder of
some guy from Status Quo, like a patron does his protege. That single shot is a
scandal, in my opinion. And Status Quo singing out of lip sync, so stupid,
really. Reminds of a treatment that Gary Glitter got from The KLF for the "Gary
In The Tardis" bullshit. And that girl in the beginning that said "Why are you
making me do all these photos? Yes, I understand you need money to divorse your
wife", that's a hilarious start for a video. I'd like to see literal "behind the
scenes" to see what happens when they shut the blinders.
